Hey Mumma and Daddy, I like games that make me move around and use my big muscles. It makes me stronger, helps me jump higher, and speeds up my runs. These fun things that we can do together can help my child learn and grow.
Green Light, Red Light
Do you remember that game where "Green light" makes me run and "Red light" makes me stop? It's really enjoyable! For example, "Yellow light" means to walk slowly, "Blue light" means to hop, "Purple light" means to walk backwards, and "Pink light" means to walk sideways. The more I move and keep my balance, the better. That's pretty cool, right?
Animal Imitation Games
In this game, I'll move like a crab, jump like a frog, and crawl like a turtle. It's also fun and helps me work out different body groups. I can work on running like a horse or standing on one leg like a flamingo as well. I'm able to improve my balance and coordination by making up games for these tasks.
Pillow Walking
Mumma, let's put some pillows on the floor and I can try walking on them without stepping on the ground. It’s like walking on a tightrope but softer and more fun! This will help me with my balance and careful stepping while getting some physical activity.
Sharks in the Water
Let’s pretend there are sharks (plush toys) around the room and I have to move without touching them. I can run, hop, or sidestep around the sharks. It’s exciting and helps me learn to move quickly and carefully through toddler exercises.
Tips for Playing with Me
Play with me, Mumma, and Daddy; it's more fun when you get involved!
Make our play space safe so that I do not get wounded.
Allow me to be creative and design new rules for our games. It makes me feel intelligent and confident!
These engaging games not only keep me entertained, but they also help me grow stronger and wiser. Let us play together and cherish these moments.
