Potty Learning Insights

Hey Mumma, Let's Talk About Potty Learning!

Hi Mumma, potty learning is a big step for me, and it's more about learning than training. Here are some tips, to help us on this journey:

  1. Early Introduction

  • Playful Preparation: Potty learning starts with getting to know the potty. We can play games, read books, and talk about the potty in a fun way. This helps me feel comfortable and excited about it.

  1. Individual Timelines

  • Unique Paces: Every child learns at their own pace, Mumma. Some kids learn quickly, while others take more time. It's important to go at my speed and not rush me.

  1. Thoughtful Use of Rewards

  • Strategic Rewards: Rewards can be helpful if used thoughtfully. You can use "When-then" language to set clear expectations and reward my immediate behavior. This helps me understand what you want me to do.

There’s an interesting story book called Potty time & Poo Time that helps me understand the potty learning experience & we can read together in a fun way.

These tips will help make potty learning a positive experience for both of us. Thank you for being patient and understanding with me, Mumma!
