Innovative Approaches to Tummy Time for Happier Babies

Hey Mummy and Daddy, Tummy time is something I know helps me become stronger, as well as learn how to crawl and play. It is possible that I will not want to do it on the floor at times, and that I will become exhausted or upset. But don't be concerned, Tummy time can be done in a variety of other ways, some of which I find to be more enjoyable.

Alternative Tummy Time Ideas

Tummy Time on a Table: Place me on a safe, flat surface like a table or kitchen counter. To ensure I’m safe, keep your hand on my back or stay close. Being at your eye level can make the experience more engaging and provide a new perspective for me. You can also use Rattle to grab my attention and make the interaction even more stimulating

Heart-to-Heart Tummy Time: You and I can both see each other this way. It makes me feel safe and helps me get better at lifting my head. This method works well for me when I'm about two and a half months old and getting stronger.

Thigh-Supported Tummy Time: Sit down and place me on my stomach across your legs. This position helps me lift my head and gives me a nice view. Gently rub my back and lift one of your legs a bit. Adding a high-contrast flashcard or tummy set can make this experience more stimulating and fun.

Use Batting Ball:  Utilizing a Batting Ball is yet another great way to do tummy time. Adding a batting ball to tummy time can get my attention and make it more fun.

Tummy time can be both fun and beneficial when you explore different methods. Finding what works best for me can make it a happy and effective part of my day. Always keep a close watch to ensure my safety and comfort.
