Our Sustainability Goals

By 2023:

Ensure everything we make has the longest life possible—so it can be passed on to another family or made complete again.

What that means:

Can’t find that missing puzzle piece? No problem: we’re committed to building the best quality products that will last generations (and replacing those lost pieces in the process). We will also create a second-hand marketplace for families.

How we’ll get there

Improve our spare-parts promise so it lengthens the lifetime of our products while minimizing waste in our production line.

Continue to conduct durability testing above and beyond the industry standard for both existing and new materials.

Create a second-hand marketplace for our subscribers.

Partner with organizations to pass along and donate products to other families.

What we’ve done so far

Built to last: We design our playthings so they can be reused and repurposed. We intentionally design—and thoroughly test—our products to make sure they can stand up to lots of play. They’ll be ready for your next little one or make a thoughtful pass-down gift to friends and family.

Lost parts promise: To ensure that your Lovevery product has the longest possible life, we always replace lost parts. Dog ate it? Can’t find that missing puzzle piece? No problem. Reach out to our Customer Experience Team, and we'll make your Playthings complete again.

Play essentials that grow with your child: As your child grows, you’ll see them rediscover and repurpose Playthings for new, open-ended, and advanced play.

Timeless development tools: The framework for providing meaningful developmental experiences is grounded in decades of research; it isn’t just a trend. Lovevery designs its support system based on expert consensus.

Extra inspiration

“Recycling is what we do when we’re out of options to avoid, repair, or reuse the product first. Firstly: Reduce. Don’t buy what we don’t need. Repair: Fix stuff that still has life in it. Reuse: Share. Then, only when you’ve exhausted those options, recycle.” — Annie Leonard
