Exciting Tummy Time Activities that Your Baby will Enjoy!

Your baby has now started to throw their arms and legs. We know you are really excited about achieving this development milestone. Congratulations! But do you know it is also the time for you to encourage your baby for tummy time?

Tummy time is an important activity for young babies, as it helps them develop neck and shoulder strength, as well as aiding in motor skills and learning. Unfortunately, many parents are unaware of the importance of tummy time, or don't know how to go about it.

Tummy time encourages your baby’s development by strengthening their neck, shoulder and arm muscles. It also helps them learn to roll, reach, push up and eventually crawl. But tummy time can be challenging for some babies. That is why it is important to be creative and have a variety of activities to keep your baby engaged.
We will share some of the best activities for your little one to ensure that tummy time doesn't become a chore. You can expect to learn some fun and interactive activities to entertain your baby and keep them safe. So, if you're looking for ways to make tummy time more enjoyable for your baby, this is the blog for you. We will help you find the perfect activities for your 4 to 5-month-old baby.

Here are a few fun activities to do during tummy time:
1. Keeping flashcards in front of them
Flashcards are a great way to keep the baby busy and engaged with learning new things. The best part about flashcards is that they can be used for so many different activities! You can use them to teach colours or animals, you could also use them for counting, reading or even playing memory games. The options are endless! There are different flash cards across our Tinyvers Activity kits 1, Tinyvers Activity kits 2 and Tinyvers Activity kits 3. From simple black and white flashcards to body parts flashcards, coloured black and white flashcards, there are various options for your baby. You can place these cards in front of them and enjoy watching them stare at them for a long time.

Babies spend the majority of their time lying on their backs. Therefore, tummy time should be an important exercise added to your baby's daily routine. By doing tummy time regularly, the physical activities of crawling, standing and walking will be easier for them. Once your baby is comfortable with tummy time, this chunk of time can be great for bonding with your little one. Being on the tummy for a long time can be a bit boring for your little one. To make tummy time more fun and something that your baby looks forward to, bring the flashcards to the table. Flashcards will enable you to connect better with your babies. They are a great way to interact with your little one, give them something to respond to.

2. Help them with the tummy set for strengthening their core while they are having their tummy time.

The tummy time is a great way to strengthen your baby’s core muscles. It is also an easy way for parents to get some exercise too! You can do this by putting the Tummy set included in the Tinyvers Activity kit 1 by placing on the floor or the bed to give your baby support during their tummy time. So, you also get ready for some core muscle exercises now. After doing this exercise, you should be able to feel the difference in your core strength!

3. Putting toys in front of them in a wooden tray:
This is another great way for your baby to strengthen his or her core as well as have fun at the same time! You can place different types of toys in front of him or her so that they will be able to choose which one they want to play with! This will also help you teach your child how to choose which toy he or she wants based on its shape, colour, etc. There are different toys in our Activity kit 1, Activity kit 2 and Activity kit 3 to help your five-month-old baby enjoy their tummy time. You can show them the wooden book or place the roll and crawl from our Activity kit 2 in front of them. This will promote their fine motor skills while they are also working on their core in a playful way! And there’s also a rainbow spinner in Tinyvers activity kit 3, spinning all seven colours will make your one little one gets excited.
